Women Tech Council ‘Tech Talk’ - July 27, 2016
Morph 3D Community Manager was asked to head a panel for Women Tech Council to field questions on the latest in consumer Virtual Reality.
“Travel beneath the sea and stare a whale in the face. Walk through your dream home before it is built. “Virtual reality” is a technology that will transform not just gaming, but education, medicine, and sales of real estate. And it is already here, being developed by Utah companies. Panelists included Chris Madsen of Morph 3D, Valeria Rodriguez of Microsoft, Carol Dalrymple of KUED & Edge of Discovery, and Joe Gabriel from The VOID to discuss how virtual reality will transform our world.”
Chris spoke about the current state of Social VR and the essential roles that avatars will play in how humans interact in our virtual and augmented future. Attendees learned how Morph 3D is leading the way in providing game makers the technology to incorporate truly dynamic characters into their virtual environments and providing bodies for users to interact with while in Social VR experiences.
